Bettina studied at Philadelphia College of Art from 1946-1950,
at the University of Pennsylvania in 1947, Skowhegan School of
Painting and Sculpture in 1975, the Peter Abate Sculpture Studio
in Brookline, MA. from 1975-1982 at Boston University School for
the Arts from 1982-1986 and at the Pulido School of Classical
Painting in Hancock NH.. “I travel frequently and for that
reason my painting is mostly done “en plein air”, to me this
is the best way to capture the action and feeling of a
particular moment in time.”
