THE GALLERY AT CATERPILLAR HILL

Greetings from CATERPILLAR HILL

Welcome to the first edition of The Gallery At Caterpillar Hill's newsletter. For those of you who have never been to Caterpillar Hill, to see the gallery's beautiful and unique shows and to relax within the extraordinary panoramic view, it is our hope that we portray the spirit of this place and the artists we work for through this web-site. This is our first working web-site, and I must admit that it's really been quite fun thanks to Jon Cox and his great patience and huge number of hours spent sorting out the details and formats to make the site enjoyable and user friendly for you. For those who know the gallery we hope you enjoy being able to visit us at anytime now. All comments, questions, and requests for specific works are welcome via e-mail.

The 2009 season closed without much fanfare. It was great to see so many of you at our three show receptions last summer and we hope that of coarse you are enjoying the work you bought from us ………
...Thank You Again! Just like with every other component of the economy, the art business was a little slow in 2009, so your purchases meant even more. See coming events for what's going on during our 2010 season.

Our primary goal with this website is to sell artwork. The painters (as always) are struggling to survive and need our help. Where would we be without art? Can you imagine your world with art? Artists often have to accept certain struggles in order to master their chosen medium, manifest their individually unique vision, or signature as I call it, and commit to creating visual art as a career. We are in business, firstly, to support painters by selling their work. Many artists do have websites and open studios, but you know what? They would prefer to paint! Secondly we are here to serve you with great art.

During the first four introductory months of 2010-February, March, April, May we will be offering you work at the lowest prices possible. You, our patrons and collectors, we understand just like us, have felt the effect of the economy in these past few years. So we hope to create a win, win, win scenario with our gallery website which allows us to help our artists, serve you, and help us keep our doors open. We encourage you to take a look at our artwork and purchase all that you can.
